PERSONAL PROJECT
I wanted to experiment with a minimalist UI design for a cyberpunk game themed around chess. The interface is sleek and modular, making it easy to adapt to a variety of screens and contexts, while the bold colors make navigation quick and easy.
Main Menu
The main menu is streamlined to its bare essentials, providing the player with access to only key information and tips to guide them towards important game mechanics.
Continue Menu
The Continue menu unfolds from the button, giving the player the ability to select which save they wish to open, as well as a screenshot to help them remember their last saved location.
Options Menu
Options are kept simple, with clear selected states to help players navigate their settings. The button to return to the Main Menu replaces the quit button, helping guide players back towards the focus point of that screen.
