Onward VR

Contract UI/UX Design

Onward was my first experience working on UI for a VR title, as well as my first time implementing UI in Unity. Being able to lay out an interface within a 3D space provided a lot of interesting challenges. Due to the relative difficulty of interacting with menus in virtual reality, I had to incorporate a large amount of information into each screen.

  • Redesigned all of the main menus to match the game’s updated art style

  • Implemented the updated UX flow in Unity

  • Designed and implemented the UI for community workshop assets, such as levels and game modes
