Leadership & Mentoring

Having worked in UX and UI for over a decade, I’m interested in supporting my team in new ways. I use my knowledge and career experience to provide feedback and bolster my own team and those in other disciplines looking to expand their skillset.

In my recent roles, I’ve joined mentorship programs to teach aspects of UX/UI design to other team members and students. I’ve supervised associate team members, providing consistent feedback and encouraging open dialogue. I’ve also taught aspects of my work to more technically-focused teammates, sharing concepts and design requirements that helped us work together more effectively.

I believe that an ongoing dialogue is the key to strong leadership and team support. Fellow devs must be comfortable coming to you with questions and concerns, regardless of complexity. Game design is a collaborate effort, and effective knowledge sharing improves that collaboration immensely.
